The breakdown of the Golshahr–Tehran metro on Tuesday, 29 Mehr 2584 (1404), turned into an opportunity for people to voice their demands. The echoes of 'Reza Shah, may your soul rest in peace,' 'Long live the Shah,' and 'Death to Khamenei' rose from the stations and their reverberation went beyond borders.

This event once again showed that the folly and corruption of the Iran-hostile regime of the Islamic Republic reveal new faces of their decay every day; yet the people of Iran, from the heart of these very ruins, forge hope and the will to protest.

More such opportunities will arise, and the metro incident on Tuesday is a particularly apt model for how to seize them.

The battle against darkness to reclaim Iran and rebuild it has entered a new phase.
