Prince Reza Pahlavi told 60 Minutes that, in response to the will of the millions of Iranians who call my name inside Iran and abroad, Prince Reza Pahlavi accepts the role of leading the transitional period toward a secular and democratic Iran.

In this conversation Prince Reza Pahlavi underlined four foundational principles: the territorial integrity of Iran, the complete separation of religion from the state, the equality of all citizens before the law, and a democratic process for the Iranian people to determine the future system of government.
