Support of Over 100 Current and Former Political Prisoners for Prince Reza Pahlavi and His Team

A statement by over 100 current and former political prisoners in support of Prince Reza Pahlavi and his trusted team, and a warning against those who create sidelines and sow division.

In the Name of Iran

With greetings to the pure souls of the devoted ones of the homeland who, amid the widespread crackdowns and massacres, sacrificed their precious lives for the freedom and glory of Iran, and whose names will remain forever immortal in the historical memory of the Iranian nation.
And with greetings to the noble people of Iran and to all freedom-lovers, patriots, and fighters who stand firm for Iran’s deliverance from the grip of the Islamic Republic.

The widespread killing, unprecedented repression, sweeping arrests, and the crimes committed in Dey 1404 (2584) once again laid bare the anti-Iranian and anti-human nature of the Islamic Republic before world public opinion. The pure blood of those who fell on this path is a national treasure for Iran’s freedom and a historic trust in the hands of all responsible and homeland-loving forces.

We, a group of former and current monarchist political prisoners who for years have borne the pressure, torture, deprivation, and repression of the Islamic Republic and who still pay the price of standing firm upon our ideals, while declaring our loyalty to the ideal of the nation-building Pahlavi kings and our resolute support for the Shahryar of Iran, Prince Reza Pahlavi, hereby declare our support for his loyal and trusted team, and we call upon all national, monarchist, and freedom-seeking forces to set aside attritional disputes and conflicts and to move forward on the path of Iran’s national interests.

Today, more than ever, Iran is in need of unity and solidarity. Any division, discord, sideline-making, political score-settling, and intra-movement conflict will serve only the Islamic Republic and the aims of the common enemy of the Iranian nation. We believe that, in the present sensitive circumstances, convergence around the national leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi and shared national principles can lay the groundwork for the formation of a broad front to rescue and rebuild Iran.

In this regard, we explicitly warn that those individuals and currents who — knowingly or unknowingly — act by creating sidelines, tearing down like-minded forces, fueling disputes, and sowing division among the opponents of the Islamic Republic are, in practice, aiding the survival of this regime. The Iranian nation will not forget the conduct of these individuals and currents.

We call upon all political activists, parties, media outlets, and influential figures — committed to the principles of democracy, mutual respect, and the prioritization of national interests — to refrain from any act that causes fragmentation in the ranks of the opponents of the Islamic Republic, and to devote all their efforts to the path of national solidarity.

Today the Iranian nation has fixed its gaze upon the responsibility of its political forces. Every standing and credibility that exists among the people springs from the trust of this same great nation. The time has now come to take an effective step toward freedom, national sovereignty, and the rebuilding of Iran — through unity, solidarity, and support for the national path charted by Prince Reza Pahlavi.

From behind the prison walls, we raise our voice in support of the Shahryar of Iran, Prince Reza Pahlavi, and in defense of national unity for the deliverance of the homeland; and we believe that Iran’s victory will be achieved only through the solidarity and shared compassion of all the children of this land.
