Commemorating Majidreza Rahnavard’s Birthday and Raising the Lion and Sun Flag at the World Cup

On June 16 and in the days before and after, gatherings, commemorations, and various activities will be held around the world to mark the birthday of Majidreza Rahnavard, a fallen hero and a symbol of Iranian courage, honor, and patriotism. All freedom-loving and patriotic Iranians are called upon to participate prominently in these events, raise the Lion and Sun national flag, and honor the memory of the Hero of Khorasan and all those who gave their lives in Iran’s National Revolution.

At the same time, the FIFA World Cup presents a unique opportunity to bring the voice of the Iranian people to the world. Let us seize this historic moment. Let the Lion and Sun flag fly in stadiums, streets, and public squares, and let the images of those who sacrificed their lives for freedom be seen by the world.

To our compatriots across North America: inside and outside the stadiums, stand together in large numbers, united and determined. Be the voice of the Iranian people and once again demonstrate the will and resolve of a united nation to reclaim its homeland.

Now is the time to show up. Now is the time for even greater unity under Iran’s national flag.
