Monarchist Activist Sohrab Hasankhani Transferred to Qezel Hesar Prison to Serve Two-Year Sentence
Sohrab Hasankhani, a political and human rights activist, has been transferred to Qezel Hesar Prison in Alborz Province to serve a two-year prison sentence.
The wife of this monarchist activist saw him off on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, “in the hope of a free Iran.”
Sohrab Hasankhani, a former political prisoner, was last arrested in December 2024 in connection with the death sentences issued for the detainees in the “Ekbatan Boys” case.
