In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the need for continued international pressure on the Islamic Republic, Iranians' access to the internet, countering the Islamic Republic's threats and intimidation abroad, and using the regime's frozen assets to support the people of Iran. They also emphasized the principle that determining Iran's political system and future is the exclusive right of the Iranian nation and must be decided through free elections.

Prince Reza Pahlavi thanked Pierre Poilievre for his continued support for the people of Iran and accepted his invitation to visit Canada again.
