Majid Bahiraei, Political Prisoner, from Malayer Prison: Our Nation's Resolve Will Soon Determine Iran's Future
Majid Bahiraei, a political prisoner detained in January 2026, has emphasized in a message from Malayer Prison that the Iranian nation will soon determine the future of the homeland and that dignity will be restored to Iran and to Iranians.
The political prisoner opened his audio message with the words "In the name of the Land of Iran," greeting "the awakened nation, the Shahryar of Iran, and the Iran-building Pahlavi family," and said:
"For more than 40 years, the share of us Iranians has been suffering, poverty, darkness and pain. I am glad that the future of Iran will soon be written by the resolve and determination of this oppressed and plundered nation — a nation that, if its people stand together, no weapon and no wall is capable of confronting its will. I believe that freedom, honour, and the dignity of Iran and of Iranians will soon be the share of all of Iran’s children."
Majid Bahiraei was arrested in Dey 1404 (January 2026), during the Lion and Sun National Revolution, in Nahavand in Hamadan Province, and was transferred along with a number of other freedom-seekers to Malayer Prison.
